Obviously online you can find tons of borders (free and paid) but did you know that you can actually make really cute borders right in Microsoft Word?

And the best part is… not only are they free, but they are really easy to add to your document!!!

Select the shape or text box to which you want to add, change, or remove a border. Click Shape Format, and then click the arrow next to Shape Outline. Do any of the following: Add or remove a picture border. Just found this fab blog post by ‘Curls and a Smile’ that shows you how to make a polka dot border in Microsoft Word. I had no idea you could do this and after following this tutorial I now have a fab red and white spotted page ready to type on. You just pick a thick solid line border and then choose the colour. Select the shape or text box to which you want to add, change, or remove a border. Click Shape Format, and then click the arrow next to Shape Outline. Do any of the following: Add or remove a picture border.
